Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Suave Ripkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ewan Turnbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

That was a close second round but I would say that Suave Ripkin will probably get the nod.

Turnbull stands up and beckons Ripkin to join him on the feet.
Ripkin shoots for a double leg takedown but Turnbull sprawls well. He's pushed Ripkin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ripkin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Turnbull tries to avoid it but Ripkin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Turnbull to the ground. Turnbull escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ripkin shoots in looking for a takedown but Turnbull manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ripkin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
