Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Dove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Mufflin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dove comes to the cage accompanied by Renegades of Funk. Derek Mufflin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mufflin staying out of range there.
Mufflin misses with a series of wild punches.
A combination from Dove does no damage.
James Dove seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dove misses with a double jab.
Dove swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mufflin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
No joy there for Dove, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mufflin enables Dove to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mufflin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mufflin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Dove with a flurry of punches that miss.
Mufflin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Mufflin pushes a forearm under Dove's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dove is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
