Savage comes to the cage accompanied by The Champ is Here. Gracie has chosen r this town i 101 as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into Savage's guard.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Savage keeps moving.
Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Savage is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Savage keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Gracie engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Savage keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Asshole Gracie.

Gracie closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Savage quickly recovers to half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gracie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Gracie postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie throws a big elbow that misses.
Gracie's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Savage not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Savage throws a lazy right hand but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Savage uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie.
We've been told by Savage's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Gracie darts in and clinches Savage up against the cage.
Savage lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Asshole Gracie has been cut.
Savage throws a knee to the head but misses.
Gracie jumps guard but Savage stands there with Gracie around his waist. Gracie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Savage's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracie pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Savage tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Savage.
Savage connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Savage takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gracie has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Gracie keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Savage.
A bone on bone clash there as Savage blocks the leg kick.

Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Savage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Gracie is looking for a sweep. Savage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

After the fight, Asshole Gracie was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
