The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davey throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Davey connects with a single shot there.
Davey fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Tibetan connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Davey to the floor! Tibetan dives in looking for the finish!

It looks like Reem Davey has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davey slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Tibetan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Davey is looking to stand up but Tibetan isn't so interested in that idea.
Tibetan wants to control from the top but Davey keeps moving.
Davey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tibetan can do anything to dispel that myth.
Davey is trying to control the action in half guard but Tibetan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Tibetan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Davey is working away from the top position though.

Tibetan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Davey pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tibetan back to the cage. Davey follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Django Tibetan has been cut.
Tibetan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Tibetan throws a leg kick which misses Davey's front leg but catches the back leg as Davey tries to avoid it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Davey crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tibetan - the referee stops the clock and Davey gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tibetan. Davey manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Davey is breathing heavily.
Davey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Davey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tibetan circles away quickly and effectively.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Tibetan! Davey is out on his feet! Tibetan rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Davey is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Davey is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
