These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kip Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Desmond Credival!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morgan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Credival, pushing him back against the cage.
Credival wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Morgan landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Morgan lands a damaging elbow.
Morgan connects with a knee to the head.
Credival wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Morgan has him pressed against the cage.
Morgan scores a nice knee to the body.
Credival looks winded!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Morgan manages to break the clinch.

Morgan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Morgan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morgan staying calm.

Morgan in side control lands a decent elbow.
Morgan working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Morgan controlling the position.
Morgan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Morgan decides to stand back up.

Credival drives through and clinches with Morgan against the cage.
Nice elbow from Morgan.
Credival is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Morgan lands a body shot in the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Morgan.

Morgan lands a nice elbow.

Credival takes an elbow to the temple.
Morgan lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


Credival is rocked!
Morgan working the clinch nicely. Credival is working for position but Morgan cracks him with a big knee to the head! Credival crumples up against the cage and Morgan lands two more shots before the ref can save Credival! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Kip Morgan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
