The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swag tries to bum rush Franklin with a series of wild strikes but Franklin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Swag stuffs the takedown.
Swag lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Franklin circles away quickly and effectively.
Franklin stuffs the takedown.
Franklin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Swag.
Franklin shoots in but Swag avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Swag shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Franklin misses with a takedown attempt - Swag sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Swag tries to score a power double leg takedown but Franklin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Swag somewhat.
Swag stalks Franklin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Franklin's face. Franklin staggers backwards, shaken.

Swag misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Swag is breathing heavily.

Franklin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Franklin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Franklin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Swag!
Franklin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Franklin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Swag to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Swag shrugs it off.

Franklin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Swag as he avoids it easily.

Swag has managed to clinch.
Swag throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Franklin tries to stall but Swag uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Franklin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Franklin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Franklin wants it to stay on the feet.
Franklin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Swag sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Yolo Swag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tobias Franklin.

Franklin has hold of Swag's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Swag tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Franklin cranks the arm and Swag screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Swag, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
