Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nice Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akira Khan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Guy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Khan is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Guy can't fight it off and eventually Khan manages to take the fight to the floor. Guy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Khan is looking to work some ground and pound but Guy has wrist control.

Guy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Khan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Guy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Khan is in Guy's guard.
Khan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Khan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Guy was covering up waiting for the punch and Khan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Khan wants to control from the top but Guy keeps moving.

Khan is pushing down on Guy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Guy is fighting to maintain full guard but Khan has managed to sneak the leg through.
Guy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Khan stands up and beckons Guy to join him on the feet.

Khan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Guy's guard.

Khan wants to get up but he can't break Guy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Guy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Khan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Khan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Khan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Khan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guy keeps working.
Khan cracks Guy with a big right hand but Guy just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Khan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Guy, pushing him back against the cage.

Khan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Khan closes the distance and pushes Guy back into the cage.
