Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avigdor Liberman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes has chosen Muse: MK Ultra as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liberman moves out of range of the strikes.
Liberman dives in and grabs Holmes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Holmes pushes down on Liberman 's head and hops out.
Holmes connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Liberman rushes Holmes and presses him up against the cage.
Holmes wants to get back to striking at distance but Liberman won't allow it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holmes tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Holmes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Liberman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Donk. Holmes catches Liberman right on the button with a cross.

Holmes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Holmes wants it to stay on the feet.

Liberman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Holmes cracks Liberman with an uppercut from hell and Liberman crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Holmes's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
