Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Suriya Pinphet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Barch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinphet lets loose with a powerful body kick. Barch will feel that in the morning.
Pinphet defending well as Barch loads up on a big left hand.
Barch swings widly with a right hand
and Pinphet counters with a nice kick to the body.
Pinphet thumps Barch with a low kick.
Barch takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Pinphet wants to clinch up but Barch keeps it at a distance.
Pinphet thuds his shin into the meat of Barch's side.
Pinphet fakes the leg kick and cracks Barch in the body.

Barch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Pinphet gets back to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barch is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Barch is trying to control. Pinphet wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Pinphet is looking to control Barch's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pinphet avoid being mounted?

Barch is working for a submission of some sort.

Barch is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pinphet is just riding it out for now. Barch eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barch is trying to control the action in half guard but Pinphet is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pinphet tries to get to full guard but Barch has control of the leg.
Pinphet pushes Barch off looking to stand but Barch dives back in and keeps control.
Pinphet really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Barch wants to take a breather but Pinphet is having none of it.

Barch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pinphet with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Barch takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Pinphet knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barch on the ground.

Barch seems to be looking for submissions.

Barch postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Pinphet badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Barch around the waist but Barch pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Barch is the winner by TKO! Barch jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
