The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cobretti, as that shot connected.
Cobretti misses with a right hand
and Mulhall counters with a left to the body.
Cobretti steps into range and cracks Mulhall with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Mulhall flops backwards and Cobretti dives into his guard looking to finish!
Mulhall is rocked!
It looks like Peter Mulhall has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cobretti's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Oh Mulhall is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cobretti looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Cobretti passes Mulhall's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Cobretti lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Mulhall quite badly. Mulhall pulls Cobretti in close trying to recover. Cobretti postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Mulhall on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Mulhall doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcello Cobretti!
