These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mead throws a half hearted mid kick.
Morgan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Morgan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mead lands with a straight right. Morgan didn't see that one coming.

That has opened up Raymond Morgan's cut even more.
Morgan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Mead shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
