Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Saku Katsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saku Katsumoto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes has a takedown stuffed.

Katsumoto drops Holmes with a nice combination! Katsumoto dives into Holmes's guard, looking to finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Katsumoto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holmes swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Katsumoto sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Holmes's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Holmes can do anything to dispel that myth.

Katsumoto seems to be working for a kimura but Holmes defends the submission attempt.

Katsumoto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Holmes is just riding it out for now. Katsumoto eventually gives up the hold.

Holmes wants to control but Katsumoto postures up.

Katsumoto has hold of Holmes's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Holmes tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Katsumoto cranks the arm and Holmes screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Holmes, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

After winning the bout, Saku Katsumoto thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
