Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pico Rodrigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abraham Psi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Psi's choice of entrance music: The Final Countdown - Europe. Abraham Psi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pico Rodrigo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pico Rodrigo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abraham Psi!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Rodrigo looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rodrigo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rodrigo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rodrigo drops his hands momentarily and Psi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Rodrigo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rodrigo misses with a head kick.
Rodrigo misses with a head kick.
Rodrigo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Psi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rodrigo. Rodrigo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Rodrigo is rocked!
An inside leg kick from Rodrigo misses.
Oh Rodrigo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Psi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rodrigo on the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rodrigo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rodrigo throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rodrigo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rodrigo seems to have got his legs back now.
Rodrigo throws a sloppy head kick
and Psi counters with a straight right hand.

Psi cracks Rodrigo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Psi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rodrigo to stand back up!
Rodrigo walks straight into a right hand from Psi - that's dropped him! Psi jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rodrigo from any more punishment! Rodrigo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Abraham Psi!
