Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cale Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miggery Sow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sow has chosen Hall of Fame as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cale Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Miggery Sow!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sow keeps the fight on the outside.
Sow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Carter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sow lets loose with a powerful body kick. Carter will feel that in the morning.
Carter is looking to clinch.
Sow stalks Carter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carter's face. Carter staggers backwards, shaken.
Carter catches Sow with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Sow lands a jab to the nose.
Carter lands with an uppercut that bounces Sow off the cage and back into range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Carter is trying to control Sow's posture but Sow avoids it.
Sow trying to control the action but Carter is working from the bottom.
Carter is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Carter is refusing to be controlled, as Sow sits in half guard.
Carter tries to get to full guard but Sow has control of the leg.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Carter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sow.

Sow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Carter tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sow is in Carter's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sow thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carter's head.

Sow is looking for a kimura but Carter is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sow to get the leverage.
Carter is staying active underneath Sow, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Carter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sow works his foot free and advances to mount.
Sow is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Carter can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sow lands a big shot there that rocks Carter but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miggery Sow dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sow tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carter swivels and escapes.

Sow throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Carter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Miggery Sow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter lands with a hook. Sow tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Sow turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Carter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sow shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carter as he avoids it easily.

I would just about give that final round to Miggery Sow.
