Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BoB Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is National Anthem. David Diaz had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Diaz clinches with his opponent.
Black is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Diaz is keeping busy.
Black tries to pull guard but Diaz holds him up against the ropes and eventually Black drops back down to his feet.
Black drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Diaz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Diaz could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Black wants a takedown but no success here.
David Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BoB Black.

Diaz has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Black is trying to keep an underhook but Diaz manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Diaz wants to work for an arm triangle but Black is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Black is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Diaz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Diaz's back!
Black has the hooks in. Diaz is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Diaz manages to reverse the position and now he's in Black's guard. Nice work there by Diaz.

Black has his foot on Diaz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diaz works his way back into a safe position though.
Diaz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Black has his feet on Diaz's thighs here. He's pushed Diaz off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Diaz screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
