The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TC shoots for a double leg takedown but Ramos sprawls well. He's pushed TC's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
TC slaps away a takedown attempt from Ramos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ramos leaves TC with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
TC shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Ramos counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Stephan Ramos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tete TC.
TC tries to circle away but Ramos has him pinned against the cage.

TC has clasped his hands together around Ramos's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

TC has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ramos is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. TC yanks on the arm and Ramos is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by TC.
