Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Jackhammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackhammer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Perkele displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackhammer throws out the jab.
Jackhammer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jackhammer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jackhammer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Perkele to the mat! Perkele manages to get full guard.
Perkele is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jackhammer is pressed up against the cage. Perkele has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jackhammer down to the mat. Jackhammer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Pekka Perkele showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

You get the feeling that Jackhammer really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Perkele postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jackhammer looks a forlorn figure.

Perkele is keen to just control but Jackhammer is a slippery customer.

Perkele is looking for a kimura but Jackhammer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Perkele to get the leverage.

Perkele takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Perkele looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackhammer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
