The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mirarleigo drops back looking for a leg! Black is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Black manages to kick Mirarleigo off! Mirarleigo jumps back into Black's guard.

Tone Black overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mirarleigo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mirarleigo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard.
Mirarleigo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Briock Mirarleigo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
