Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jue Nicholson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yngwie Wynsten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yngwie Wynsten!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wynsten bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nicholson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Nicholson wants to control but Wynsten postures up.
Nicholson tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Wynsten easily slips into full mount!

It looks like Wynsten might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wynsten is landing with some decent strikes but Nicholson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Nicholson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Wynsten escapes and throws Nicholson's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Nicholson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Horrible takedown by Nicholson or perhaps it was just good defense by Wynsten which made him look bad.
Yngwie Wynsten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Let's hope that Wynsten has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Yngwie Wynsten wasn't active enough on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Yngwie Wynsten hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Nicholson tries a head kick but it misses.

Wynsten fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nicholson sprawls well initially but Wynsten persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wynsten thows a huge punch but Nicholson dodges it nicely.

Nicholson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wynsten's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wynsten's back!
Nicholson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wynsten is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Nicholson gets his way!

Yngwie Wynsten showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Nicholson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
