Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Coalman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slingya Muck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Coalman has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Coalman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slingya Muck!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Muck misses

so Coalman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Coalman won't allow Muck to sweep him here.
Coalman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Coalman postures up and lands a big shot to Muck's brow.

Muck looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Coalman passes into half guard.
Muck manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coalman's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Coalman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Muck has his foot on Coalman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coalman works his way back into a safe position though.

Muck is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Coalman asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Coalman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
