Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Funke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stark comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Man-Black Sabbath. Funke has chosen never gonna stop as his entrance music. Cody Funke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cody Funke!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funke has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Funke there as he acknowledges the shot.
Stark jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Good exchange - Stark coming out on top.
Funke gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Stark trying to control but Funke is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Funke looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stark is one step ahead there.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Anthony Stark wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Stark showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Funke.
A shot to the liver by Stark. Beautiful body shot.
Funke moves away from the strike by Stark.
Sloppy strikes from Funke. Those never looked like landing.
Anthony Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stark scores with a punch to the head.
Funke misses with a looping left.
Funke gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stark keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Funke.
Funke shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stark is trying to defend but Funke finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Stark wants to get back to full guard.
Funke wants to take a breather but Stark is having none of it.
Stark regains full guard. Nicely done.
Stark is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Funke got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stark has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Funke has managed to get both his arms back between Stark's legs - danger averted.
Funke throwing strikes from guard but Stark blocks nicely.
Stark is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Funke with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Funke stands up over Stark, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Funke trying to control the position from guard on top but Stark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stark had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Funke defends it easily.
Funke throws a sloppy strike and Stark has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Funke is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Stark!
