And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mouqinho walks into a stiff left hand from Jackson.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mouqinho crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jackson - the referee stops the clock and Mouqinho gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jackson. Mouqinho manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Mouqinho closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away.

Mouqinho takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jackson catches Mouqinho with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Mouqinho.
Jackson lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jackson gets through Mouqinho's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mouqinho's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
The referee is keeping an eye on Jackson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jackson digs a right hand into Mouqinho's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mouqinho's gas tank.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jackson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Mouqinho's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Mouqinho drops to his knees and Jackson pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Murray Jackson!
