Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean Schamp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Diggler!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schamp shoots in for a takedown but Diggler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Schamp drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Diggler is looking to regain half guard here but Schamp keeps moving and retains side control.

Schamp goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Diggler has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Schamp but great work by Diggler.

Diggler tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schamp defending against the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diggler tries to stand but Schamp is controlling his head.

Diggler thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Schamp tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diggler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Schamp looking for a sweep but Diggler has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Diggler prevents Schamp from getting the reversal.
Diggler controlling the pace for now.
Diggler trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Diggler lands a nice shot to the head.
Schamp keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Schamp is working hard here to advance position.

Diggler trying to control but Schamp is having none of it.

Schamp can't escape the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Schamp wants to try and get back to his feet.
Diggler thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Schamp manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Schamp, under a barage of strikes from Diggler.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Diggler seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Schamp is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
