Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paul Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCarthy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Crank That-Soulja Boy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McCarthy misses with a looping right.

It looks like Paul Stewart has been cut.
McCarthy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Stewart is rocked!

Stewart shoots in and bounces McCarthy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stewart won't allow McCarthy to get back to his feet.
Stewart tries to free his leg and advance position but McCarthy is retaining full guard.
McCarthy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Stewart wants to control from the top but McCarthy keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCarthy wants to stand and escape but Stewart is having none of it.

Stewart slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
McCarthy is looking to stand up but Stewart isn't so interested in that idea.

McCarthy and Stewart are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. McCarthy throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Stewart into next week! Ooooh that was huge! McCarthy knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
