The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott walks into a straight right hand from Hartikainen.
It looks like Drunk Abbott has been cut.
Hartikainen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Abbott.
Hartikainen gets a clinch.
A shot in the inside from Hartikainen.
Abbott misses with a hook to the ribs.
Hartikainen tries to throw a body punch but Abbott avoids it by throwing Hartikainen back against the cage.
Hartikainen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hartikainen.
Abbott misses with the head strike.
Hartikainen can't find room to land a body shot as Abbott controls the action.
Hartikainen misses with a hook from the clinch.
Abbott swings wildly with an uppercut but Hartikainen uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hartikainen struggles to land a body shot inside as Abbott controls his hands.
Hartikainen is pushing Abbott up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Abbott tries to throw a body punch but Hartikainen avoids it by throwing Abbott back against the cage.

Abbott misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Still in the clinch, Abbott scores with a nice short uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Abbott could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Hartikainen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Abbott is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hartikainen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Hartikainen cracks Abbott's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Abbott slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Hartikainen can do further damage! This one is done, son!
