Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jore Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Bjork (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Karhu.

Karhu tries to improve position but can't.

Karhu manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bjork's best efforts.

Bjork is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Karhu has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Karhu!
Bjork wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Karhu manages to pass to side control.

Bjork is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Karhu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Karhu's back!
Bjork has the hooks in. Karhu is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Bjork seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Karhu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bjork seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bjork is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Karhu has managed to free his arm - good work.
Karhu wants to get back to full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bjork throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bjork thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Karhu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bjork.

Karhu throws a knee to the head but misses.
Bjork has Karhu pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Karhu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Jore Karhu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mats Bjork.
Bjork is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Karhu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Jore Karhu will probably get the nod.

Karhu wants to pass to mount but Bjork is defending the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Karhu is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bjork is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
