Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miau Subsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miau Subsi had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miau Subsi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Hall!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall misses with a few strikes there.
Hall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Subsi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Subsi throws out the jab.
Subsi misses with a leg kick.
Hall swinging wildly here.
Subsi slips a jab and a cross from Hall.
Hall lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Subsi.
Subsi throws a right hand that Hall ducks under and follows up with a left that Hall also avoids with ease.
Subsi tries to land a front kick but Hall steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Subsi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hall misses with a few strikes there.
Hall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Subsi throws a strike but Hall rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Miau Subsi will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Subsi is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Hall's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Subsi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hall's calf.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Miau Subsi.
Hall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Ben Hall seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Hall's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Subsi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hall scrambles back to his feet.

Hall on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Subsi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hall was well out of range. Poor timing from Subsi.

Subsi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hall is looking to improve his position.
Subsi is figuring out what he wants to do next.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Subsi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Subsi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hall for as long as he can get away with.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Miau Subsi has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Miau Subsi showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Subsi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
