Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcello Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, SasH Hemingway!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez stuffs the takedown attempt from Hemingway. Hemingway gets slowly back to his feet.
Sanchez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hemingway throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Sanchez looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Hemingway looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Sanchez lands with a punch from half guard.
Still in half guard, Sanchez seems content to control.
Hemingway is looking to get back to full guard here but Sanchez has managed to pass to side control instead.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sanchez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hemingway did well to prevent Sanchez getting side control.

Hemingway is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sanchez is aware though and is defending well.

Hemingway has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sanchez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hemingway escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sanchez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sanchez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hemingway knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Sanchez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hemingway napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hemingway is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sanchez asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Sanchez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sanchez moves into full mount! Hemingway won't be happy about that!
Hemingway bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Sanchez thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Hemingway throws a big right hand that misses.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hemingway's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Hemingway postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sanchez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hemingway is fighting to break Sanchez's control of his arms but Sanchez is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Marcello Sanchez.

Marcello Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of SasH Hemingway.

Sanchez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hemingway was covering up waiting for the punch and Sanchez finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
