Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Sparx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sean Sparx!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bowman gets a clinch.
Sparx lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bowman backwards.
Sparx lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sparx is pressed up against the ropes. Bowman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sparx down to the mat. Sparx avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Bowman moves out of range of the leg kick from Sparx.
Bowman fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sparx avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bowman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sparx tries to avoid it but Bowman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sparx to the ground. Sparx escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bowman looks to land a left hand but Sparx moved out of range nicely.
Sparx lands a jab to the head.
Bowman is looking to clinch.
Sparx misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bowman.

Bowman instigates a clinch.
Bowman is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sparx is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Bowman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sparx is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Bowman ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bowman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bowman is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sparx rolls with it to try and escape but Bowman cranks on the arm and Sparx is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
