Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gab Showman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stampe Eklund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eklund has chosen Troll - Trollberg as his entrance music. Stampe Eklund is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Showman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Eklund is out of range.

Eklund closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Showman did well to prevent Eklund getting side control.

Eklund stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Showman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Showman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Eklund defends well.

Eklund has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Eklund remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
