The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Alves dives in and grabs Teixeira's left leg, looking for a takedown. Teixeira pushes down on Alves's head and hops out.

Teixeira throws a lazy right hand but Alves sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
