PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emmanuel Bredenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bredenberg comes to the ring accompanied by Heja Bamse. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bredenberg connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pitbull's hands.
Bredenberg looks for the body kick but Pitbull saw that one coming.
Pitbull lands with a hook. Bredenberg tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bredenberg thumps Pitbull with a low kick.
Bredenberg closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bredenberg has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Emmanuel Bredenberg has been cut.
Bredenberg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pitbull moves away.
Bredenberg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pitbull pinned against the ropes. Pitbull gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pitbull throws a right and a left that Bredenberg avoids nicely.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pitbull enables Bredenberg to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pitbull manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Emmanuel Bredenberg.

Pitbull is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Bredenberg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Pitbull looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Bredenberg can't hide his disappointment, as Pitbull celebrates the victory.
