Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Plexico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Project Pat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pat has chosen Project Pat - What Cha Starin' At as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plexico throws a body punch but Pat moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Pat throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A head kick misses from Plexico.
Pat with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Pat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pat throws a nice outside leg kick.
Pat throws a leg kick which misses Plexico's front leg but catches the back leg as Plexico tries to avoid it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pat darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Lukasz Plexico has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Plexico wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pat has him pressed against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Pat throws an elbow but misses.
Plexico misses with a punch to the body.
Pat blocks a body shot from Plexico.
Pat has Plexico pushed against the cage.
Pat lands a hook that snaps the head of Plexico backwards.

Pat gets through Plexico's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Pat lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Plexico backwards.
A right hand to the body from Plexico.

Pat presses Plexico against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Plexico manages to break the clinch.
Pat tries a low kick but Plexico avoids it.
Pat throws a nice outside leg kick.
Pat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Project Pat is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pat fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Plexico has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pat throws a head kick that misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pat crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Plexico - the referee stops the clock and Pat gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Plexico. Pat manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pat steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Plexico.

Pat scoring well with a low kick there.
Good leg kick by Pat there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A clash of legs there as Plexico blocks the low kick.
Project Pat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pat finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Plexico takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Pat connects with a leg kick. Plexico looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Plexico is breathing heavily.
Pat tries to clinch up but Plexico circles away and keeps his distance.

Plexico looks for the body kick but Pat saw that one coming.
Plexico moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Plexico throws a shot from downtown. Pat moves away and avoids it.
Plexico swats away the attempt to clinch by Pat.

Pat lands a left and a right that send Plexico crashing to the mat, dazed. Pat thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Plexico is rocked!

Pat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oh Plexico is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Pat has cracked Plexico with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Pat lands another huge swinging hook and Plexico tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Plexico, before Pat can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Project Pat!
A relieved looking Project Pat thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
