Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kidace Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kidace Lee looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kidace Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pete Barry!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barry drives through with a takedown into Lee's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Barry stands up from Lee's guard - Barry perhaps looking for a knockout.

Barry closes the distance and clinches.

Barry jumps into guard, dragging Lee to the mat.
Barry manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barry jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lee is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lee and Barry has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Barry is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Barry lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Lee takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Barry tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barry has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Barry decides to stand back up. Barry steps back and let's Lee get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Barry bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lee is breathing heavily.

Barry is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lee has escaped the position, nice work there.

Barry has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Barry fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lee to the ground. Barry is now in Lee's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Pete Barry.

Lee gets tackled into the cage by Barry. Barry maintains the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Barry lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Kidace Lee has been cut.
Lee is trying to break the clinch but Barry is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pete Barry dominated that round.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lee gets caught napping as Barry dives in and scores a takedown. Lee manages to retain guard.
Barry tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard.
Barry is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Let's hope that Barry has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Barry's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Pete Barry.

Barry drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Barry with a flurry of punches that miss.

Lee keeping full guard, as Barry tries to pass.

Barry stands and steps away. Lee gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and as Lee loses concentration momentarily, Barry counters with a picture perfect head kick! Lee goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
