The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker throws out a loose jab but Lucas uses good head movement to avoid it.
Parker swings widly with a right hand
and Lucas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Jason Parker has been cut.
Parker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lucas circles away quickly and effectively.
Parker blocks a jab.
Lucas is looking to land body kicks.
Parker throws the kick towards the body but Lucas avoids it.

Lucas does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Parker shoots in looking for a takedown. Lucas tries to sprawl out of it but Parker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lucas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Parker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lucas. Lucas circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lucas lands a head kick. Parker smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Parker is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lucas had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The crowd cheers as Parker lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lucas doesn't seem phased though.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lucas, as that shot connected.

Jason Parker's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Travis Lucas spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
