Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Weed King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Haggen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by http://youtu.be/8gyLR4NfMiI. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haggen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Haggen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King.
King fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
King shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Haggen has a closed guard, preventing King from standing up.
Haggen pushes King off and scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Haggen is fending him off so far but King persists. Nope, Haggen circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Weed King. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haggen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Haggen sprawls well. Haggen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet.
King is breathing heavily.
A jab from Haggen finds it's way through King's defenses.
Haggen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging King to the ground. Haggen is now in King's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Haggen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Haggen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as King works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

King wants to sweep but no luck.
Haggen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
King throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Haggen with a flurry of punches that miss.
Haggen won't allow King to get back to his feet.
King looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
King is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Haggen is controlling him.
Haggen distracts King with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Haggen tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard.

Haggen postures up in King's guard and throws a big left but King blocks it.
King preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
King lands a good elbow from the bottom.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Haggen lands a couple of elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haggen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Haggen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Haggen lands a couple of digs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King keeping full guard, as Haggen tries to pass.
King is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
King wants to stand up but Haggen has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Haggen trying to control but King postures up.
King wants to pass to mount but Haggen is defending the position.
King winds up and cracks Haggen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Haggen trying to hold on to King's head to control him but King postures up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
King is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
King is looking for a kimura here.
King throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Haggen wants to get back to full guard.

Haggen looking for a guillotine here but King defends easily.
Haggen is controlling King's posture.
King decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Haggen, up you get!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Haggen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
King cracks Haggen with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Haggen falls to his knees and King doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Weed King!
