Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Holmes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zeus Gracie!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Holmes drives through and clinches with Gracie against the cage.
Gracie is pressed up against the cage. Holmes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gracie down to the mat. Gracie avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Holmes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Holmes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Holmes sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gracie fails to land the takedown.

Holmes has managed to clinch.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Holmes manages to get underhooks.
Rob Holmes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zeus Gracie.

Holmes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown but Holmes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gracie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Holmes shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Holmes, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Holmes against the cage but Holmes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Holmes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Holmes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gracie circles away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Holmes but Holmes pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Holmes lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Holmes swivels and escapes.

Holmes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Gracie looking for a guillotine here but Holmes defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holmes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Holmes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now.
Holmes looking to sit in guard and control but Gracie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Holmes is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gracie stopping the sweep attempt from Holmes.
Gracie advances to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Holmes is in trouble now - Gracie has advanced to mount!

Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Holmes has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gracie takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Gracie is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Holmes with him. Holmes is trying to defend but Gracie has an arm under the chin now! Holmes grimaces and is forced to tap out!
