Stronghold has chosen Ironman as his entrance music. Mike Stronghold is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stronghold fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No luck for Elliott with that takedown attempt.
Stronghold pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Elliott stuffs the takedown.

Stronghold shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Elliott is doing well to control the position and prevent Stronghold from advancing to side control.
Stronghold wants to control but Elliott is keeping him busy.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Elliott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stronghold tries to avoid it but Elliott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stronghold to the ground. Stronghold escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stronghold shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Elliott sprawls well. Elliott wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stronghold gets slowly back to his feet.

Elliott has picked Stronghold up - he's going for a ride! Elliott dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Elliott is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stronghold shoots in looking for a takedown but Elliott manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stronghold's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Stronghold looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out!
