The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vrakas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Vrakas misses with a two punch combination.
Edgars lands a two punch combo.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vrakas.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Edgars.
Edgars lands a nice looking body kick.
Edgars looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Edgars tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oooooh!!! Edgars has knocked Vrakas down with a huge combo! Edgars steps away and waves a wobbly Vrakas back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Stavros Vrakas has been cut.
Vrakas looks winded!
Vrakas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Edgars but Edgars pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Humors Edgars has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stavros Vrakas.
Vrakas loses concentration momentarily and Edgars pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Vrakas crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Edgars finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
