The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lister tries to clinch up.
Cleo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lister as he jumps to the side.

Cleo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lister to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lister trying to control but Cleo is working from the bottom.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. David Lister wasn't active enough on the ground.
Cleo shoots in for a takedown but Lister shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lister changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cleo tries to avoid it but Lister manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cleo to the ground. Cleo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Lister. Cleo shrugs it off though.
Lister connects with an inside leg kick.
Lister wants to clinch up but Cleo keeps it at a distance.
Cleo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ula Cleo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cleo is breathing heavily.

Lister lands a big head kick that sends Cleo tumbling to the mat! Lister takes a step backwards and waves Cleo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Ula Cleo has been cut.

Lister is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Cleo is in big trouble! Lister is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Cleo. Poor guy.
