The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Taylor or perhaps it was just good defense by Lonni which made him look bad.
Lonni lands a really nice looking cross but Taylor seems unphased.
Nice takedown defense from Lonni. No joy for Taylor on that attempt.
Good standup being displayed there by Lonni as he connects with a hook.
Lonni dips to his left and cracks Taylor with an uppercut!
Lonni lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lonni sizes up Taylor with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lonni as he jumps to the side.
Aldo Lonni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Taylor.
Taylor doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Taylor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lonni sprawls well. Lonni wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Taylor gets slowly back to his feet.

Taylor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lonni but Lonni pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lonni defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Taylor.
Taylor takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Taylor is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lonni wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Lonni lands an uppercut, right on the button! Taylor tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
