Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gerhard Kreutzberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Phil Taylor looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gerhard Kreutzberg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phil Taylor! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kreutzberg lands a jab-cross combination. Taylor takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kreutzberg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taylor moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kreutzberg stalks Taylor and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Taylor's face. Taylor staggers backwards, shaken. Kreutzberg scores with a nice head shot. Gerhard Kreutzberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A decent looking cross lands there for Kreutzberg. Kreutzberg connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kreutzberg with a nice cross. Kreutzberg lands with a right hand. Kreutzberg lands a jab to the head.

Taylor moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kreutzberg is working the combinations to good effect here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kreutzberg sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Taylor has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. The fighters circling - Taylor throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Taylor looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Kreutzberg scores with the left hand. Taylor knows he should have avoided that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kreutzberg cracks Taylor with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Taylor closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kreutzberg tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Taylor just stands there and leans against the cage. A knee to the head by Taylor.
Taylor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A punch combination from Kreutzberg misses. Taylor throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Kreutzberg scores with a jab to the body. Kreutzberg fails to land with a series of punches.
Taylor clinches up against the cage. Taylor manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Kreutzberg is trying to force a seperation but Taylor has the dominant position.

Taylor throws a front kick that sends Kreutzberg stumbling back into the cage. Kreutzberg punishes Taylor's body with a nice straight punch. A combination from Kreutzberg does no damage. Taylor throws a right and a left that Kreutzberg avoids nicely. Kreutzberg lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Taylor tries to move into range but Kreutzberg moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Taylor has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kreutzberg finds it's way round the side to connect with Taylor's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Taylor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kreutzberg throws a right and a left that both miss. Taylor looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Taylor wants to clinch up but Kreutzberg keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! Gerhard Kreutzberg showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kreutzberg, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
