Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Melo Bearbeater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Melo Bearbeater!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klein keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Klein fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bearbeater avoids it really well and circles away.
Klein takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bearbeater moves into the clinch.
Klein is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Klein is trying to pull guard but Bearbeater has him pressed against the cage.
Melo Bearbeater has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caleb Klein.
Bearbeater has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Klein uses from the top position.

Klein is stalling here. Bearbeater is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Klein seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bearbeater has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Klein manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Bearbeater is trying to control the action in half guard but Klein is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Klein wants to control but Bearbeater is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Klein is controlling Bearbeater's trapped leg to prevent Bearbeater from advancing to side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Klein looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Melo Bearbeater will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Klein shoots for a takedown but Bearbeater saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Klein tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bearbeater sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Klein somewhat.

Crunch! Bearbeater slams his shin into Klein's torso.
Klein throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bearbeater's waist but Bearbeater gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Klein off to one side.
Bearbeater fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Klein, pushing him back against the cage.

Bearbeater takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bearbeater throws a right and a left that Klein avoids nicely.

Klein shoots in and bounces Bearbeater off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Klein is fighting to break Bearbeater's control of his arms but Bearbeater is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
