Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Giret Dayz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paco Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giret Dayz looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Giret Dayz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paco Mendoza!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendoza throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dayz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mendoza looks to throw the jab but Dayz is out of range.
A slow jab from Mendoza misses its intended target.
Dayz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mendoza manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mendoza scores with a hook to the body. Dayz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dayz tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mendoza counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dayz takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mendoza throws a series of strikes that have Dayz backpedaling.
Mendoza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dayz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dayz tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mendoza counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A big left from Mendoza misses.
A lazy left from Mendoza finds it's target.
Mendoza scores with a jab to the body.
Dayz slips under a jab from Mendoza.
Dayz tries to clinch but Mendoza moves away
and Mendoza counters with a left and a right that stings Dayz.
Dayz is rocked!
Mendoza steps in with a hook that catches Dayz right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Mendoza follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Dayz looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paco Mendoza!
