The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galuppo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Galuppo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Galuppo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by James Jr.
Galuppo looks to clinch
and James Jr counters with a straight right hand.
James Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Galuppo sprawls well. Galuppo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. James Jr gets slowly back to his feet.

Galuppo drives through and clinches with James Jr against the cage.
James Jr has a couple of punches blocked by Galuppo.

Galuppo presses James Jr against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

James Jr tries to break free but Galuppo pushes him back against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Galuppo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Galuppo works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Still in the clinch, Galuppo scores with a nice short uppercut.
James Jr tries to circle away but Galuppo has him pinned against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on James Jr's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Galuppo creates a bit of space for himself and rocks James Jr with a big uppercut! James Jr tries to clinch up but Galuppo pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples James Jr to the mat! James Jr covers up and Galuppo unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
