Connell has chosen Ain't No Rest for The Wicked as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jeff Wood could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Landen Connell's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood throws a nice inside leg kick.
Connell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Connell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wood throws out the jab.
No joy there for Connell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Connell sprawls well. Connell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wood gets slowly back to his feet.

Connell trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Connell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Connell is looking to advance position but Wood has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Wood throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Connell because Wood loaded up on that one.

Wood wants to get back to his feet but Connell is holding on tight.
Connell tries to hold on but Wood pushes him away.
Connell is just holding on here. Wood manages to take his back.

Wood working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Connell is doing well to defend. Wood seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Connell is forced to tap and this one is over!
