Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mikhael Ruzinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlando Cardigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruzinski comes to the cage accompanied by Can't be touched. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Orlando Cardigan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruzinski tries to clinch up but Cardigan circles away and keeps his distance.
Ruzinski on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Orlando Cardigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruzinski lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Cardigan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cardigan tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ruzinski moves into the clinch.
Cardigan breaks the clinch.
Cardigan throws a low kick but Ruzinski avoids it.
Cardigan looks to clinch
and Ruzinski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cardigan's guard now.
Ruzinski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Ruzinski is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cardigan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Cardigan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ruzinski off and has taken his back!
Ruzinski tries to escape but Cardigan has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Cardigan is cranking Ruzinski's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Ruzinski! He's tightened the choke and Ruzinski is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Orlando Cardigan!
