The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ballo lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ballo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ballo trying to control the position from guard on top but Diggler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Diggler is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Ballo frees his head nicely. Oh but Diggler has switched to an armbar! Ballo is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
