Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mac Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Natan Wille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wille's choice of entrance music: Enter Sandman. Natan Wille has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mac Storm's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mac Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Natan Wille!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Storm enables Wille to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Storm manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Wille passes Storm's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Storm is trying to stand up here but Wille is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wille is looking for a kimura but Storm is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wille to get the leverage.
Storm slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Wille's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Wille lands a couple of digs.
Wille throws an elbow that misses. Storm uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wille's guard. Nice move by Storm!
Wille looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Wille is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Storm got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wille has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Storm has managed to get both his arms back between Wille's legs - danger averted.

Storm knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wille on the ground.

Wille has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Storm is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wille is looking to take a break and control but Storm is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Storm is looking for a sweep.
Storm takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Wille creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Wille lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Storm down.

Wille stands up.
Wille throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Storm's waist but Storm gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wille off to one side.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Wille closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Storm did well to prevent Wille getting side control.
Storm on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Storm tries to get out of the position.
Wille scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Wille seems to be working for a kimura but Storm defends the submission attempt.

Wille looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wille is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Storm doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wille.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wille shoots in looking for a takedown but Storm manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wille's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Wille gets to his feet. Storm looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Storm gets caught napping as Wille dives in and scores a takedown. Storm manages to retain guard.

Wille keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Storm's head.
Storm can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wille controls the pace.

Wille gets to his feet - Storm follows without any prompting.

Wille fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Storm to the ground. Wille is now in Storm's guard.

Storm wants to sweep here but Wille controlling him for the moment.

Wille postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Storm is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wille, into his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wille is pulling down on Storm's head to control his posture.
Storm has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Wille is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Storm is aware though and is defending well.
Storm wanted to stand there but Wille had control of the position.

Storm is looking to advance position but Wille has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Storm is squirming around, avoiding Wille's attempts to control the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee warns Storm that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Wille goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Storm turns into him and now he's in Wille's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Natan Wille showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Wille tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Storm manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Natan Wille seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wille is working for takedown but Storm is calmly controlling the position for now.
Mac Storm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Natan Wille.
Storm is pressed up against the cage. Wille has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Storm down to the mat. Storm avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mac Storm is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wille changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Storm tries to avoid it but Wille manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Storm to the ground. Storm escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wille is defended easily by Storm.
Wille takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Wille shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Storm as he jumps to the side.

Storm feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Our winner, Natan Wille, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
