Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio dos Passos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from dos Passos does it's job there.

dos Passos cracks Black with an uppercut from hell and Black crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of dos Passos's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

This has been an exciting period of action!
dos Passos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Black shoots in for a takedown but dos Passos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
dos Passos lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Frank Black's cut is getting worse.
Black walks straight into a right hand from dos Passos - that's dropped him! dos Passos jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Black from any more punishment! Black complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Helio dos Passos opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
